Fashion Design Classes
I took Flat Pattern Making & Draping last summer at Sew Fresh Studio.Wanted to share my first completed project using the skills I learned in those classes. I designed and created an Irish Dance solo dress! I’m going to put it up for sale at a competition this weekend. I was amazed at how well everything came together using the techniques I learned in your classes.I couldn’t have done it without my new skills & techniques!Thank you so much for these wonderful classes.

Fashion Student Recommends our classes
Dear Sew Fresh Studio Teachers: As you know, I am attending CSU and have been accepted into the design concentration program as of this semester. I have been doing a lot of sewing lately, because of this I just wanted to tell you that I am so grateful for the beginners sewing classes I took with you. It has really made a difference, I am one of the more competent sewers in my design class, so thank you! and I’m looking forward to taking some classes this summer!

Non Traditional Wedding of My Dreams
Nora McCray and her Sew Fresh Studio Design Team are just amazing! I cannot imagine how my wedding style would have happened without Nora, Judy and the whole Sew Fresh crew!! I have been there many times for alterations now and have been incredibly impressed with the quality each time. So far, Nora’s creative & talented team has helped me with: retro/vintage wedding dress alterations (I bought a mod orange wedding dress for $65 and it was a little snug in all the wrong places… After Nora’s suggested alterations, I felt like a movie star and was SO happy that Nora caught all the little details, such as where to let things out and where to take them in. This stuff is complicated!), custom wedding groom suspender creation/sewing (they hand sewed these suspenders for the best man and groom – and both will cherish them for years to come), custom bridal veil/head piece (I found 1940s vintage chocolate brown veil material and a few silk flowers, and Nora created a masterpiece out of it!), a complex German dirndl zipper replacement and some business slack hemming). My partner and I have also been there once for a monster doll making class with a refresher on sewing techniques. Nora taught me that my sewing machine was not evil. Yeah! I love Nora for this! I just needed patience, and a few of Nora’s clever “learn to sew” tricks.

A Guy Who Loves Sewing Now
My girlfriend felt like I needed a new hobby and recommended sewing classes for the both of us. I was afraid at first cause we went to another studio and it was so lame and boring, she decided one more time to try a new place and we went to Sew Fresh Studio and never in my life have i had more fun! Beautiful Bridal Alterations
Nora and her crew helped me make my store bought wedding dress into a beautiful custom dress. They listened to my requests and made them all happen. I love my dress and its all to Nora and her crew. I would recommend them without hesitation! They are so friendly and experienced.
