Classes encourage you to challenge yourself in at least 2 new ways and to make the items that you dream of. It is nice to call ahead and let the teacher know what you will be working on. Industry, couture sewing and finishing techniques are taught to students at each of their levels. Duct Tape Dress Form Party: Level 2.5

Commercial dress forms priced from $400-$700 keep many of us from fitting our garments to a dress form but we can help you make a custom dress form using tape and patience. Team up with another student and wrap each other using duct tape and a bit of laughter, then the next class you switch and tape your sewing buddy. You will need to bring a long sleeve snug fitting knit t shirt, the last class will show you how to mark stuff and make a stand for it. If you have a dress form now that doesn’t fit you can use this as your base to add your new figure to or you can order an IV stand for about $40 for a rolling stand you will also need about 5 sacks of loose batting.
